Man is finally sentenced to 8-10 years in prison for torturing dog to death

In a major victory for animal lovers, Radoslaw Czerkawski, the man responsible for the death of Puppy Doe, was finally found guilty of animal abuse.

Five years after Kiya, a Pit Bull mix, mentioned in social networks as “Puppy Doe”, had to be put down due to her serious injuries, justice is being done. Her aggressor, a Polish citizen, named Radoslaw Czerkawski, was sentenced on March 27 in Massachusetts. After his sentence was read, the entire court shared tears of joy.

Radoslaw went to the United States in 2008 and Kiya was found in 2013, abandoned in a park. She had a knife in her eye, multiple fractures in the skull and spine, and a split tongue.

Finally, five years later, Radoslaw was convicted of 12 counts of cruelty to animals. He faces 8-10 years behind bars and two years of probation. In addition, this monster is prohibited from owning or contacting any animal.

After his sentence is fulfilled, he will be deported back to Poland. With the conviction of Radoslaw Czerkawski, it has been shown that people who commit cruelty to animals will be punished. The final decision was posted on a Facebook page, called ‘Justice for Puppy Doe’.

Hundreds of people commented the case.

One person wrote, “I will never forget the night I read the details of what he did to her… It will haunt me forever. That changed me as a person, made me fight more for animal rights. Puppy Doe didn’t die in vain… ”

Another person wrote: “She is definitely not forgotten! My heart breaks for her every time I see her name or her case. I’m so sorry precious Kiya that you suffered so badly…”
