Skinny dog is rescued and adopted by an employee of a building

Building maintenance workers are always ready to help residents with more than one problem. But an employee from Clayton, Georgia, faced a bigger problem than a simple water boat finding out what was happening behind closed doors in one of the apartments.

At a time when the man was asked to verify a problem with the property, something disturbed him even more than he could imagine.

A gray, bone-looking Pit Bull seemed to be asking for help with his weakened gaze.

The dog did not need to speak for the employee to understand that the situation was not well in residence – the dog was paying the consequences. For this reason, he decided to report to the authorities, but they could not intervene.

The most logical solution was to inform the Animal Control office, but they just left an alert on the door of the negligent homeowner’s apartment. Finally, the worker had the opportunity to help the creature.

One morning, he found the animal in a cage outside the building. His owner had left the dog to his fate.

Faced with this action, the employee did not hesitate for a moment and decided to adopt him. The first thing he did was release him from the cage and take him to Grayson Animal Hospital in Gwinnett County.

“When he got here, he was crying, screaming in disbelief. This is the worst case I have ever seen. He is very sweet and kind. All he wants to do is kiss you” said Alive Cinnamon Koch, a rescue team.

The dog was not only skeletal but had some burns on his paws. Despite his past, the creature had hopes of improving.

He was called Mikey by the man who rescued him and he wasn’t the only one in love with the dog. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, some girls heard about the story and decided to donate to cover Pit Bull’s expenses.

Annabelle, Ari, Addie, and Rylee have fallen in love with Mikey and are trying their best to help him.

The dog weighed less than 10 pounds when he was admitted to the hospital. A weight quite low for his size, because, according to veterinarian Dr. John Tollive, Mikey had to weigh at least 20 kg.

We hope that soon he can recover physically and emotionally from his past trauma. For their part, the authorities are investigating the details of the story to determine the owner’s liability.

These things should not be allowed. Share this note and encourage your friends to report any suspicion of animal negligence. We can all do something!
