Sick and hungry dogs are found on a golf course

Two sick and hungry dogs were discovered by good Samaritans on a golf course, in Florida. Bruce Dangerfield, the animal control officer at Vero Beach, took the 5-month-old cubs to the Humane Society for veterinary care.

The two dogs were not only hungry, their bodies were covered with scabies.

When they arrived at the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County, they received a medicinal bath and began to be nourished because they were very weak!

Kennel staff called them Laverne and Shirley and soon found out that their recovery process would be long but effective.

The association asked the public for help in locating the people responsible for their malnutrition and neglect. The poor animals have gone through so much and these monsters should be behind the bars!

“As animal advocates, the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County and the Police Department will do everything possible to bring these animals to justice.”, said Chalmers Morse, the association’s chief executive.

We can’t understand how there are still animals that are mistreated at this point. Surely these people have no heart!

Hopefully justice will be done and these animals will haveĀ a happy ending, alongside a loving family. Share this story with your friends and family!
