Cases of violence against defenseless animals never seem to end. Every day, a dog comes to our ears that was severely beaten, abandoned, chained, among other terrible things. But, fortunately, there are always good-hearted people who try to amend such acts. The case that we are going to watch today is an example to follow!
In June 2014, the Cleveland Police Department received a call denouncing a dog that was being severely beaten by its owner. The poor animal was being attacked with a brick and suffocated … How could anyone be capable of that?

When the police arrived, the Pit Bull dog named Harvard was very depressed and upset. As a thank-you to his rescue, he immediately jumped into the police car and revealed his sweet and loving personality!

It was then that a policeman named Brandon Melbar went beyond his duties and had an attitude that changed the life of this dog … the officer offered to temporarily host the animal in his home, as he knew that if the Pit Bull would go to a shelter, it would take a long time to find a home. Melbar immediately fell in love with the dog and eventually adopted him.

This is not the first time a Cleveland police officer has gone beyond his duties in rescuing a dog. In the past, a police officer named John Lyons found a little girl who was pregnant. But, unfortunately, she was very sick … After the animal regained its strength, John took the dog home and eventually adopted her and all her puppies.

Harvard received all the medical care he needed and began his journey in the life he always deserved …

And all thanks to Melbar, the Police Officer who gave a second chance to this Pit Bull!

Share in respect to these good-hearted men!
