Recently, Garrett Johnson’s parents held a week-long cruise – leaving him in charge of the house and the beloved family dog, Oscar.

Turns out she really had nothing to worry about. Oscar was in good (and very creative) hands.
To reassure his parents’ mind during the trip, Garrett decided to direct a short video showing the good times he and Oscar were having in the absence. The idea of a home-made comedy came to him spontaneously, aware from the beginning that he had the best companion at his side.

After being posted on Twitter, Garrett’s and Oscar’s short has been seen tens of thousands of times – proving that even strangers enjoyed the sweet update made only for Garrett’s people.
“That took me far,” he said. “I only had 70 followers so I was just posting it to my friends. This is unreal.”
The camera may have stopped filming, but the good times between Oscar and Garrett did not diminish in the house with just the two.
“We’re relaxing” until [my parents] come back, “he said.” Life is good. “
