“Longa infantil ” tells the story of a small deer who saw his mother killed by a hunter. Alone, he had to learn to survive in nature and overcome various obstacles. Bambi was released in 1942, in the middle of World War II. And his plot was based on the Bambi book, A Life in the Woods by the Austrian writer Felix Salten.

It is considered one of the movies that made people cry the most. But the reality denounced by Disney about 80 years ago is still a constant in the lives of many animals. And this can be proven by a recent posting by the Spanish organization AnimaNaturalis in its Instagram profile.

The NGO posted the image of a deer baby nested on a plastic mannequin in the shape and size of an adult deer. The object is used by hunters as a target for training shots. It is possible to notice how the baby is devastated and deeply sad looking for the host of the puppet that is probably being confused with the mother of the puppy.

The photo isn’t dated and there is no information on where it was recorded.

Unfortunately, the baby is believed to have been orphaned after his mother was killed by a hunter, as was Bambi. Baby deer depend on their mothers to feed themselves, protect themselves and learn how to become a self-sufficient adult.

Alone, their chances of survival are drastically reduced.
