Country and Zeus are two 6-month-old siblings who lived with a loving family in Virginia. Unfortunately, the family had to move and could not take the dogs to the new home. Then the pups were left at the SPCA of Winchester, Frederick and Clarke Counties.
The dogs are incredibly friendly and love everyone they know. At this moment, all they dream of is finding a new home, where they can be together.
“They are very sweet,” said Lavenda Denney, executive director of the SPCA. “They give you kisses and are very expressive. When you walk up to their kennels, they stop barking and tilt their heads to the side to look at you.”
Because of their sweet personalities, they rarely have problems… Unless someone tries to separate them! As soon as the brothers are separated, even for a short time, they moan and cry non-stop. They love each other very much and are not afraid to show it.
“They’d rather be with each other at all times,” Denney said. “They sleep in the same bed and look for each other when they walk on separate leashes.”
After losing their family, Country and Zeus must be adopted together. The brothers have lots of energy and they love everyone they know. The lovely dogs only need a family, who is willing to give them a chance.
Hopefully the Pit Bulls will find a loving home soon.
