Elephants are incredible creatures and are quite intelligent. Unfortunately, many of these animals are abused and hunted. But in the Elephants Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand, these majestic beings can seek comfort and comfort among the volunteers. Sangduen “Lek” Chailert, founder of the Save the Elephant Foundation in Thailand, has a special relationship with an elephant named Faamai.
They have an amazing relationship for a human and an elephant. Lek removes the flies from Faamai with a rag, and begins to sing for her. But it’s not any song. It’s a lullaby. Faamai loves the attention that Lek is giving her and begins to become sleepy. Seconds later, Faamai begins to fall gently on the floor. She began to fall asleep with the loving voice of Lek.
Apparently, elephants love lullabies. According to a study conducted by the American Psychological Association, classical music is comforting to Asian elephants. When the orchestra of guitarist Eleanor Bartsch played a concert for two elephants belonging to the Circus World Museum, she was stunned to see them swaying to the music. Not only does Faamai feel comfortable, but she does something amazing when she’s on the floor!
Watch the video below and see what happens while Lek continues singing to Faamai after she nestles close to her lap.
