Dog is recovering after being beaten with a screwdriver and set on fire

Bruce, a four-year-old Bull Lurcher, is recovering from a miracle. The poor animal was found with holes in his head, due to serious aggressions. Fortunately, the dog fought for his life and managed to survive. The RSPCA believes that the holes in his head were caused by a screwdriver or a piece of wood with a nail.

In addition to multiple injuries throughout the body, the puppy suffered a terrible eye injury. Unfortunately, the eye ended up infecting and had to be removed. To make matters worse, part of his tail was burned, prompting rescue workers to think that someone had tried to set him on fire.

Bruce has been operated on and is doing very well. At first, veterinarians were concerned about his quality of life, but he refused to give up. Bruce defied the odds and proved he still has a lot to offer to this world.

The dog is unable to fully open his mouth and an MRI scan revealed that he has damage to the jaw, which may need treatment. Now, Bruce is living with a temporary family, as he continues on his way to recovery. Despite everything that has passed, he is still a happy and friendly dog, who loves everyone he knows!
