Dog is hit by train and seriously injured after being abandoned

Two sweet puppies found themselves under the care of the wrong person. When the owner decided that he no longer wanted the adorable puppies, he dropped the three-month-old brothers into a park.

The puppies must have been so scared and confused. They got on the railroad tracks and were run over. One of them eventually died and the other was seriously injured.

We can’t even imagine what the solo pup experienced, but somehow he managed to survive. When the Butler County Sheriff’s Department found him, the puppy had lost an eye, tail, and two hind legs.

While the dog was recovering and receiving veterinary care, police were able to arrest the responsible person.

A Facebook status revealed, “That owner, a 17 year old juvenile from Hamilton, abandoned him and his sibling earlier that day at a park in Lindenwald.”

They named the Trooper Dog. The responsible for the abandonment is accused of cruelty and abandonment of animals, both accusations of misdemeanor.

At this time, Trooper is being promoted and given a wheelchair to get around.

We are live with Trooper!!
