Vincent Radermaeker, of the Belgian village of Montsen, died two weeks ago. Vincent was a very popular vet and had a rather special funeral. Nicole Widy made an appeal on Facebook, where she suggested the idea of organizing a ceremony for the deceased. The goal was to form a guard of honor with the animals he cared for, and their respective owners.
The ceremony was a success
150 dogs and their owners came forward to form a guard of honor in front of the church.
The veterinarian’s family was clearly moved by the tribute. Vincent was 51 years old, and helped many animals throughout his life. Now, it was time to return the favor.
The animal lover had a golden heart for his patients.
At his request, his ashes were scattered throughout the park and a magnificent cherry tree was also planted in his remains.
A wonderful tribute to a very special person. Rest in peace Vincent! Share this loving gesture with your friends and family!
