Ashton Kutcher asks people to “pray for him” after making a life changing promise

Ashton Kutcher achieved fame after appearing as Michael Kelso on That 70’s Show. The actor seems to have everything that many want: good looks, a great sense of humor and a charming personality. However, the artist’s life is not a bed of roses. He has already suffered a lot, and now he’s asking us to pray for him after making a life-changing decision.

The Hollywood hottie married his old co-star, Mila Kunis, in 2015, and it seemed undeniable that he was living a dream life. The couple now share two children, and they are the most adorable family of celebrities ever. However, behind the actor’s smile, there is a man with many tragedies in life.

He almost lost his life to save his brother

When Ashton was only 13 years old, he almost took his own life to save someone else. His twin brother, Michael, who was born with cerebral palsy, suffered cardiac arrest that left him very ill.

The doctors told the family to say goodbye to him, because his heart was not pumping blood to his body as it should. Ashton knew the only way her brother would survive would be if he did a heart transplant, and he was willing to die so the twin could survive.

“I’m on the porch, thinking about jumping, and my dad walks out and says, ‘What are you thinking?'” Ashton recalled. “I told him. He came to me and said, ‘You can’t do that.'” Miraculously, a heart-donor was found that very day.

Second tragedy

Ten years later, a second tragedy struck the actor: his girlfriend’s death. When he was 23, Ashton was dating a student named Ashley Ellerin. Unfortunately, she lost her life on their date night. The girl was stabbed by a serial killer known as the Chiller Killer. Ashton had to testify in court, which turned out to be a crucial piece of evidence for the man to be convicted.

Actor wants to help girls all over the world

Now the 40-year-old actor has a mission in life: to make the world a better place, saving innocent girls around the world. In a 2016 interview, Ashton Kutcher told an interviewer to pray for him, and for his mission. “When Barack Obama was going into office, I made a pledge that I was going to start fighting human trafficking and I started a foundation.”

In 2008, the actor started a foundation called Thorn, with the ex-wife, Demi Moore. They build digital tools to help police track down human traffickers. “I saw six and seven-year-old girls being abused for profit. I said to myself, ‘I don’t want to live in a world where these things are happening and I’m not doing anything to stop them.'” So far, the foundation saved thousands of victims and identified thousands of traffickers.

Ashton hopes people will pray for him as he faces his next goal: “My next promise is to eliminate child pornography from the internet.”

Ashton Kutcher is truly an inspiration! Despite all the things he has ever faced in life, he keeps smiling and doing everything to make the world a better place! Share if you think he’s wonderful!
